1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small values stored by the browser and sent with relevant requests. Browser local storage can retain information on the device without sending it automatically with every request. Similar technologies are covered by this policy when they store or access information on the device.

An internal analyst-development view may use local storage under the key vaste.analytics.predictions.v1. It is not a customer-tracking technology and is not required by the public customer portal.
3. Optional analytics
Analytics is off by default. No analytics provider is active in this implementation version. Before any provider is activated, its name, purpose, data, duration and transfer safeguards must be added to this policy, and the provider may load only after valid consent.
4. Optional marketing
Marketing measurement or targeting is off by default. No marketing provider is active in this implementation version. A future provider may load only after valid consent and after this policy has been updated.
5. How consent works
- Necessary storage is used to provide the service, security, language choice and the consent control itself.
- Analytics and marketing are disabled until you actively select them.
- Rejecting optional categories must be as easy as accepting them.
- Your choice includes a version and timestamp so it can be refreshed if the purposes or providers change.
6. Change or withdraw your choice
Use the permanent “Manage cookies” button at the bottom of the service. Saving all optional categories as off withdraws optional consent. You can also delete cookies in browser settings, in which case the service will ask for a new choice.
7. No cookie wall
Public content and necessary account functions are not conditioned on accepting optional analytics or marketing. A paid entitlement may still be required for Premium content under the service terms.
8. Changes and contact
This policy is updated before new optional technologies are introduced or when the purpose, provider or duration changes materially.
